Richland County authorities say they know the identities of two suspects in the alleged sexual assault of a woman who accepted a ride from the men.
Early last Friday morning, the two men gave the 20-year-old woman a ride from Five Points, where she reportedly works in a restaurant, to her apartment along Southern Drive.
She told investigators during the ride home, she was given a drink of water she now thinks contained a date-rape drug.
At her apartment, she says she was sexually assaulted by both men, who appeared to be of Middle Eastern descent.
Now, the sheriff's department says the suspects have been identified and are cooperating in the investigation.
The names of the men have not been released, and Sheriff's Captain Chris Cowan has not said if they'll face charges or be arrested.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the sheriff's department or Crimestoppers.
