4th Suspect in Forest Acres Home Invasion Surrenders

The fourth suspect is now in custody after a Forest Acres home invasion last month where one of the intruders was killed.

Police Chief Gene Sealy says 20-year-old Rayon Wright of Columbia surrendered to authorities Sunday.

He's facing charges ranging from attempted murder to 1st-degree burglary.

Police say Wright was with a group of men who entered a home the night of January 20th in the 3500 block of Linbrook Drive, fired shots and demanded money.

One of the suspects, 23-year-old Deshawn Patterson, was killed in an exchange of gunfire with an occupant of the home.

Two other suspects were apprehended last month.

Police have said the incident is related to illegal drug activity.
