The man who was the victim of a hit-and-run in Richland County along Farrow Road has been identified as 33-year-old Osric Bittle of Rock Hill.
Bittle's body was discovered Monday morning in a wooded area near a hotel near I-77.
Coroner Gary Watts estimates Bittle was struck about 11 p.m. Sunday.
The Highway Patrol says a person phoned them Tuesday morning and said he may have been the driver who hit Bittle.
The man told authorities he notified the Richland County Sheriff's Department Monday because he thought he hit something.
No word on any charges being filed in the incident.
