Two Charged with Illicit Sexual Acts at Boat Landing

Lexington County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested two men allegedly observed performing illicit sexual acts at a public boat landing on the Saluda River.

Sheriff James Metts says 38-year-old Stephen Grissom of Lexington and 45-year-old Edward Rose of St. Matthews are charged with violating a county ordinance that prohibits performing indecent sexual acts in public.

Metts says deputies arrested Grissom and Rose on December 30th at 9 Radio Lane near Irmo during an undercover investigation in response to complaints from residents.

The sheriff says a deputy observed the men involved in the illegal behavior about 9:30 Monday morning along a path near the boat landing.
